Mr. Troy came to us all the way from New York. He had been using a Japanese-made frame from an American brand — a combination that clearly resonated with his sensibility — but unfortunately it had broken, and he was on the lookout for his next pair. He stopped by our Ginza store during his time in Tokyo, and together with his companion, took his time considering the options before choosing this particular frame.

**BARTON PERREIRA** is an eyewear brand founded in 2007 by Bill Barton, former president of Oliver Peoples, and Patti Perreira, who served as creative director at the same company. Having spent years at one of the most respected names in eyewear, the two brought with them a deep commitment to classic, refined design and an unwavering dedication to Japanese craftsmanship. The brand gained widespread recognition when Daniel Craig wore their model JOE in a James Bond film, and it has since earned a loyal following among Hollywood figures and eyewear enthusiasts around the world.
