◆ MASAHIKO NIWA NM-146 C-5

We were honored to welcome Mr. Benjamin to our Ginza store, where he purchased the above frame. Visiting Japan from Singapore, he had researched our shop in advance and made a purposeful visit during his trip.

Inside the store, he carefully tried on several frames, paying close attention not only to the materials and design but also to the craftsmanship and philosophy behind each piece. His sincere approach to eyewear left a strong impression on us. It was clear from the way he thoughtfully selected a frame that he truly enjoys wearing glasses as part of his everyday life.

He ultimately chose the NM-146 C-5 by renowned Japanese craftsman Masahiko Niwa. This combination frame features a classically inspired multi-sided shape, blending acetate and metal in perfect harmony. Despite its delicate detailing, it offers excellent durability and comfort. The double-structured brow bar gives solid support to the entire frame, making it both highly functional and visually distinctive. The frame’s refined presence also complemented Benjamin’s calm and composed demeanor beautifully — a truly fitting choice.
